Meat Loaf
Previous Names: Meat Loaf Soul, Popcorn Blizzard, Floating Circus
The origin story of Meat Loaf is a bit muddled - by design. Meat Loaf (born: Marvin Aday) admits to often lying about it, "Because names and ages piss me off. So I just continually lie."
But what is almost certainly true is that his unusually large size (at age 10 he was over 300 pounds) earned him the nickname "Meat" - presumably from his father originally.
The "Loaf" portion came later, possibly from high school football coach.
