AC/DC
Malcolm and Angus Young got the name from their sister Margaret who noticed "AC/DC" printed on a sewing machine. The brothers felt this reflected the energy and power of their music, so chose it for their band name.
The name is generally stylized in print using a lightning bolt in place of the "/".
